I wasn't sure I was actually going to make it to Breyerfest (http://www.breyerhorses.com/breyerfest/) this year, what with the leg ulcer and the economy. But I got the doc's approval and a judging gig so I'm going! I'm looking forward to a more relaxed BF than last year. Even though I'm judging I'm not doing the AG this year so I won't be carrying all the RESS (http://www.ress.org/) materials for the AG table like last year. Thankfully last year I had my good friend Cindy Rucker (http://clovermeadowstudio.blogspot.com/) with me otherwise I don't know what I'd have done!
I'm not going to be able to go to the Kentucky Horse Park (http://www.kyhorsepark.com/) for the events (doc's orders are Do Not Sweat due to the skin graft) so I'm going to go for the Breakables at BF show and then come home. But I will get to see some old friends since I haven't been to a show since June 2008. I'm also excited because I'll get to see some of the newly released chinas fully glazed, like Stormwatch and Vixen and maybe a Taboo too! If you have no clue what these marvelous equine art sculptures are then you haven't been following Lesli Kathman's blog (http://blackberry-lane.blogspot.com/) or Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig's blog (http://mink-studios.blogspot.com/) !
I'll take photos of the china tables and post them when I get home.
