Alas, when I opened my kiln this morning the element had begun to droop. So I'm taking it to Paragon tomorrow. It's great being near the manufacturer when stuff like this happens! Next week I have a teaching conference on robotics at Mississippit State University so I most likely won't be firing again until July. However I did get the red roan appaloosa fired and also the Moose medallion.
The first two photos are the red roan appy after the eye detailing has been done. The medallion is after the second layer of china paint has been added. He needs at least one more firing with a final top coat of palomino to blend the first two colors together before he will be offered for the Flying Heart Fundraiser . Cheryl
