Compassion and art

The equine fired-art community is a pretty close-knit group and when a friend hits a rough patch, the compassionate side of our art comes to the fore. A lovely lady has a very ill hubby and may have to liquidate her clinkie collection to cover the costs of his care. Having been hit with my own unexpected bills with my leg ulcer (the BCBS Fed plan changed dramatically on Jan 1) I can empathize with their situation. I will be listing some of my art pieces on my blog soon and all proceeds will go to help Mel and Hermann. Stay tuned!
