I haven't gotten anything done since BF in July due a continuing health problem with a burn on my leg that has turned septic. It may sound silly but I had no idea how draining chronic pain can be and how much it can affect your desire to work or even do the things that bring joy and pleasure to you.
I'm hoping I can attend Clinkie Classic 3 in TN next month at my hubby's urging. And I'm going to try to get back to work in the studio over Thanksgiving break this month. I'm thinking that pushing myself back into stuff I enjoy may help improve things overall.
I love the holiday season as well and I don't want to be in the doldrums for Christmas. Christmas has always been a very special time for me, both spiritually and emotionally. I try to do charity work and buy gifts for the Toys for Tots campaign. Since I'm teaching again I'm hoping to get a food drive going at our school to benefit those who have lost their jobs or been hit hardest by the economy. I hope everyone who reads my blog will consider donating time or food to their local pantry or shelter!
