I'm very pleased and excited to announce that the SR appaloosa that I china painted for The Lakeshore Collection has been released with this lovely announcement from Cindy Neuhaus:
"Just up on the website/announced to members of The Lakeshore Line newsletter about 24 hours ago, and our latest, all-new special run is a HIT---only THREE of 12 left! As always, in hand-painted, heat fired fine bisque porcelain...
Announcing: Ann Harris' "Marshall" in "Marshall" #10115 Grey Denim-Marked Spotted Appaloosa by Cheryl Farrens of FireHorse Designs in a Special Run of only TWELVE!
See this way-cool guy here: http://www.lakeshorecollection.com/gallery.html
(Enlargements of both sides should come up when you click on thumbnail, not working at present-sorry--web lady has been contacted!)
This is Cheryl's first time as a guest artist for Lakeshore, & I couldn't be more pleased with him! She developed an all-new technique combining air-erasing, etching, china paints & glazes and the result is this guy that you just can't take your eyes OR hands off of---with the soft glow of his
satiny-matte finish, he just looks so real you expect him to get up & walk away!
Cheryl's real Appaloosa breeding experience comes through with loads of bells & whistles: Lightning marks, striated & striped hooves, sclera, mottled "privates", eye area & nose (you could just reach out & PET that nose!), shaded mane/tail hair, a real denim Appaloosa look with spots, some
haloed, sprinkled over his coat! The denim marks also have a fine wispy look reminiscent of real hair. Cheryl even signed & numbered each one!
Check him out, and so you don't miss out on future releases, exclusive deals & all our goings-on, sign up for our free bi-weekly eNewsletter here: http://www.lakeshorecollection.com/contact.html
