Where did the summer go???

Wow, I can't believe my summer is almost gone. I made the trip to Mississippi State Univeristy for a robotics teaching academy, came back to a repaired kiln and also started hyper baric oxygen therapy on my leg wound. In between all that I've also been working on some custom glazes.

This first piece is a tile designed by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig for the Flying Heart Fundraiser's Terra Cotta Tile Project. It was glazed with Duncan's Autumn art glaze and then had a copper plate burnish added. I have 11 more of these lovely tiles to complete, and each will be a studio unique finish.

I'm also working on a two custom glazes on a Lakeshore Marshall and Touch of the Sky. The Touch of the Sky is going to be a brindle POA. The Marshall is a palomino appaloosa claybody custom where I have added a free-flowing tail and loose mane. They have a few firings to go before they will be finished. I'm also working on some PMC (precious metal clay) pieces as well as some fused glass ideas for the student's in the Fulton TAPPS competition this year.
