About 2 months ago a trio of young male Canadian geese made a stopover at our ranch on their way back home north. This is a normal occurrence around here and we usually see the travelers leave after a few days. This time however these three males decided to stick around and romance our lone goose, Aflack. She is a female but is a white Embden goose. Over the past couple of weeks, first one, then another of the males gave up. But one male is still pursuing his dream of becoming an American citizen and keeping company with Aflack. I couldn't resist taking a couple of quick shots of our odd couple!
