NEIBITS, a benefit show for my appy rescue work

As most people know, or can tell from my artwork LOL, I love appaloosa horses. My father and I both showed them for many years as well as standing four stallions at one time. Although I'm no longer showing, training, or giving lessons, I am still very much involved in appaloosas by running a small rescue/sanctuary operation. To help defray costs I host a model horse show, NEIBITS, annually: http://www.appaloosas.org/NEIBITS.html

Given the bad economy, one of the first things to suffer are people's pets. I recently adopted a rescue toy poodle and have been inundated with requests to take in all breeds of horses. I wish I could but our place is small and Texas is once again in the grip of a major drought. I encourage anyone who reads my blog to do their part to help all creatures, great and small, in any way you can.

Thank you!

Cheryl
